A New VRS Provider (Owned by A Deaf Businessman) Hawk Relay is the youngest video relay service (VRS) provider and is unique in being deaf and hard of hearing owned and operated. The founder, Samuel Hawk, began the service in response to a need and desire for greater stakeholder control of the relay service industry. Hawk Relay is committed to two main goals: -Provide deaf and hard of hearing customers with the very best technology and video interpreters. -Provide deaf and hard of hearing entrepreneurs with greater opportunities to participate in the relay service industry. In addition, Hawk Relay is a proud sponsor of the following organizations, activities and programs: ASLFilms Camp Mark Seven Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Government (DHHIG) Deafread.com Ladies, The Laurent Institute, The Phoenix DPHH Knoxville Deaf Network and the Viking Classics are our newest additions. These two allow Hawk Relay to benefit deaf and hard of hearing people in the great state of Tennessee and surrounding areas.
